Web Software Engineer

Inkly is changing how modern businesses close sales contracts through our AI-assisted contract negotiation software. Built for founders and sales leaders first, Inkly translates complex legal jargon into smart suggestions to help businesses reduce negotiation friction and accelerate sales cycles. Gone are the days of bad lawyers and zero visibility.
You will work on our sales negotiation platform that manages contracts, enables collaboration across an entire org, surfaces AI-powered suggestions, and predicts user behaviors to optimize clicks. Our tech stack consists of ReactJS, NodeJS, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
In this role, the engineer's responsibilities include:
- Building and owning core UI/UX features for the Inkly web app
- Developing user-facing features that delight with React.js
- Managing development of server-side logic using Node.js
- Writing and maintaining testable, scalable, highly-readable code
- Work collaboratively with founding team to iterate on this early test project
The ideal candidate must:
- Have at least 1 to 3 years of work experience in React and Node.js (or similar web development)
- Have 3+ years of software development lifecycle and processes
- Yearn to build pixel-perfect UI from design
- Must think logically and be a self-motivated problem solver
- Ability to work independently and to determine workload priorities
