Update existing Open Source node project libraries to latest version
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Description:
This project will be to take an existing Open Source project called QLC Tracker (https://github.com/qlcchain/QLCTracker) that "seems" to have been setup to run with Node 10 and update it to run with the latest Node libraries. Additionally, the project is supposed to be able to build a Docker container via a Dockerfile and that will need to be updated as well so that it builds and runs cleanly as expected.
The QLC Tracker as compiled with the much older version of Node is currently operational from the QLC site:
https://explorer.qlcchain.org/
You will be expected to demonstrate a fully compiled and operational version with the newer Node libraries v16.13.0 (or newer) that builds everything as expected for web, desktop (via Electron), and Dockerfile
Job Requirements:
Your job will be to update the node libraries in the open source project so that it will quickly and easily compile, and run without errors as well as that the Dockerfile will build a completely functioning version of the QLC Tracker.
Effectively you will be updating the project to run with the latest libraries.
Payment:
You BID will be your fee and there will be absolutely NO up front payments. Payment will be made upon successful completion of the job and no payment if you do not complete the job so be confident that you can update the libraries and have the Dockerfile create the functioning container BEFORE you agree to accept the job.
Deliverables:
A complete update to the existing code base to Node v16.13.0 or newer as well as a Docker file that builds and runs. You must be able to demonstrate the functionality from your system. (i.e. Everything MUST build and run properly)
Developer Skills:
For a skilled Node developer with Docker container development capabilities, this should not be a difficult or challenging project and should not take much time to complete.
