Title: Backend Engineer Needed for Bug Fix & Stability Improvement (Voice AI Agent – VAPI / Node.js / AWS EC2)
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We are seeking an experienced backend developer to diagnose and resolve stability issues in our Voice AI agent system.
Project Overview:
The backend was developed using VAPI and Node.js, and is currently hosted on AWS EC2. The system is live and operational; however, we are experiencing intermittent API downtime.
Current Issue:
The API occasionally becomes unresponsive. We suspect the root cause may be memory overflow or improper memory/resource management within the backend service.
Scope of Work:
* Investigate and identify the root cause of API downtime
* Analyze memory usage and detect potential memory leaks or overflow issues
* Optimize backend performance and resource handling
* Implement fixes to ensure system stability and reliability
* Provide documentation summarizing the issue and applied solution
Requirements:
* Strong experience with Node.js backend systems
* Experience debugging memory leaks and performance issues
* Familiarity with AWS EC2 environments
* Experience with real-time or voice-based AI systems is a plus
* Ability to work independently and provide clear technical explanations
