Text editor with react-quill

I have a backend API that fetches data from MongoDB database, I have built a text editor with help of react-quill. I have created two buttons such as create, and edit, and to show all existing data I have a dropdown menu that shows the title of documents and their contents. Everything works except when i click on edit to change content of document, I have tested my backend with postman there it works perfectly. I think, I have implemented the update method incorrectly in the frontend.
