We're at a critical stage of development with our Shopify integration (MVP launch scheduled for mid-2025) and seeking an exceptional technical leader to join our founding team with equity participation.
Position Overview
We're seeking a senior full stack developer to join as a technical co-founder (equity & cash position) who can bridge the gap between our business vision and technical implementation. You'll work directly with our product lead and other founding partners to accelerate our development timeline, resolve current technical challenges, and build a scalable foundation for future growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions for our Shopify app
- Lead the completion of our backend dashboard, API integration, and microservices architecture
- Oversee the development of critical features including Instagram/Meta integration
- Implement automated instance creation for merchant onboarding
- Ensure Shopify App Store compliance and successful app listing
- Guide technical decision-making at the executive level
- Mentor and potentially manage our development team
Technical Skills Required
- Expert-level experience with Node.js (particularly Fastify) and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Proven experience developing and launching Shopify applications
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience with Instagram/Meta API integration
- Proficiency in headless architecture implementation
- Database design and optimization expertise (MongoDB, AWS)
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
Current Tech Stack
- Backend: Node.js with Fastify microservices, AWS, MongoDB
- Frontend: React/Next.js
- Integration: Shopify API
- Project Management: Atlassian JIRA
