Senior Node.js Developer for Cloudflare-based CMS
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
We are looking for experienced Node.js developers to build a content management system (CMS) hosted on Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare Workers. The CMS will have a serverless architecture and utilize Cloudflare D1 as the database and Cloudflare R2 as the file storage. The CMS needs to provide APIs for a mobile app to consume content in a headless manner.
The front-end will use a template engine like Handlebars.js. There are two types of admins:
1. Backend Admin: Has full access and can approve content updates.
2. Moderators: Can approve content updates.
3. Editor: Can only manage content but needs admin approval to go live.
The CMS should have:
- An HTML editor
- Slider/banner control
- Asset management using Cloudflare R2
- Ability to flag content with keywords for admin review
- Ability to import data
- Store content using Cloudflare D1
Content Approval Flow:
Normal editor users can upload content, but only admins/moderators can approve and publish the content.
Sensitive Word Detection:
The CMS needs a sensitive word database. If any uploaded content contains words from this database, the moderator needs to receive an alert highlighting the triggered text.
Integrate OneSignal to send web and mobile push notifications.
That was 2 type of users
Some page/section may limit to type of users.
Also that was some section/page may have dynamic content base on user(not user type)!
The front-end will be mostly HTML with text, images, video and external links. It should use Bootstrap 5 and jQuery. The menu can be up to 4 levels deep. Some pages/sections will be limited to User Type 1 (enforced through the API) and some limited to User Type 2 (also enforced through the API).
The CMS needs to have:
- A slider/banner with text and button links to embed in pages
- A photo gallery to embed in pages
- Rich text content
- Mobile-friendly tables (ensure API has same effect for mobile)
- A contact us form
We need this project completed within 3 weeks with a team of 3-4 developers working together.
Please let me know if you need any clarification or have suggestions to improve the job post.
