Senior Full-Stack "Finisher" – Premium Email SaaS (Node/React) – 30 Day Sprint

We are seeking a high-level Full-Stack Engineer to finalize a premium Email Marketing & Automation platform. The UI/UX is approximately 85% built (both Light & Dark modes are complete), but we are moving on from a previous developer due to poor code quality, lack of documentation, and a lack of attention to detail.

We need this production-ready in 14 to 30 days. We are looking for a "finisher" who can deliver clean, documented, and high-performance features daily.

Management & Quality Standards:

Vercel Staging: You must maintain a Vercel staging environment for real-time testing of every update.

Daily Commits: Clear, descriptive daily commits to GitHub are mandatory.

Premium Eye: We expect a "product-first" mindset—perfect spacing, consistent typography, smooth transitions, and zero "clunky" interactions.

Scalable Code: Refactor messy legacy code into a documented, modular structure.

Technical Scope & Compliance:

Core Email Engine: Full integration for SMTP and API-based sending (AWS SES, SendGrid, etc.).

Automation Logic: Build the backend infrastructure for the visual workflow builder (triggers, delays, and conditional sequences).

Compliance & Deliverability: * GDPR/CAN-SPAM: Automatic injection of mandatory footers (Unsubscribe links, Physical Address).

One-Click Unsubscribe: Fully functional unsubscribe landing page and automatic database list cleaning.

Bulk Standards: Implementation of proper headers (List-Unsubscribe) to ensure high deliverability and inbox placement.

Data Systems: Finalize CSV contact imports (with mapping), tagging logic, and dynamic segmentation.

Analytics: Connect the frontend dashboard to live tracking (Opens, Clicks, Bounces, and Complaints).

Subscription/Billing: Finalize Stripe integration (Production webhooks, invoice emails, and plan management).

Tech Stack: Node.js (Express), React, MongoDB/PostgreSQL, Redis, GitHub Actions, Stripe, and Email APIs.

Payment & Milestone Schedule:
Payment is strictly tied to functional progress visible on the staging site.

Milestone 1 ($150): The Functional Engine & Compliance.

Deliverable: Working SMTP/API sending + Mandatory GDPR footers and Unsubscribe logic. Staging site live.

Milestone 2 ($200): The Automation Brain.

Deliverable: Visual automation builder is fully functional and triggers sequences in the DB.

Milestone 3 ($200): Data, Segmentation & Billing.

Deliverable: CSV imports and tagging functional. Stripe subscription webhooks/billing logic finalized.

Milestone 4 ($150): The Premium Finish.

Deliverable: Analytics live. Full UI polish (spacing, transitions, bug fixes). Final technical documentation delivered.
