Senior Full-Stack Engineer for SaaS Enhancement

Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in enhancing and extending our existing SaaS platform. This project will focus on improving scalability and security, with a significant component involving the migration of key infrastructure to AWS. This is an initial six-month engagement with strong potential for a long-term partnership.

Scope of Work:

- Enhance and extend the existing production SaaS application, developing new frontend and backend features within the current codebase.
- Integrate external APIs and various data feeds to expand platform capabilities.
- Improve critical workflows, specifically focusing on the checkout process and document management.
- Expand our SEO-friendly architecture, including both dynamic content and page-based structures.
- Lead the migration of our backend infrastructure to AWS, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Relocate our database, storage solutions, and functions from the current stack to AWS.
- Implement comprehensive logging, monitoring, and documentation practices to facilitate seamless handover and ongoing maintenance.
- Ensure the stability and performance of the production system throughout all transitions and development phases.

Additional Information:

- The ideal candidate must work with a strong overlap during EST business hours.
- Availability for communication during US working hours is essential.

Our platform is a SaaS product, utilizing Node.js for the backend and React.js with Tailwind CSS for the frontend. We primarily use TypeScript and JavaScript. We are looking for expertise in security, databases, performance optimization, testing procedures, and source control management.
