Senior Backend Engineer (TypeScript/Node) for Multiple Projects

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who has 4+ years of valuable technical experience in software development, specifically with TypeScript. Our engineering team is a small, nimble team of software engineers building web and mobile applications for our clients in healthcare, real estate, and more. We build secure, end-to-end solutions that focus on scalability and accessibility. We talk once a day Monday-Friday during our scrum stand-ups, chat via Slack, commit code to GitHub and track tickets via Jira.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Commit code to GitHub that delivers required functionality as provided by the project manager
• Write unit tests to ensure adequate code coverage for new features
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions that can define an engineering roadmap
• Coordinate with project management to ensure the accuracy of SOWs and timelines on new projects
• Collaborate with internal UX/design team to bring incredible products to life for our clients
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
• 4+ years of valuable technical experience in software development, specifically with TypeScript
• Outstanding in-depth knowledge of web applications and TDD
• Demonstrated history of success shipping new products to production with Node
• Extraordinary communication and presentation skills to all levels of an organization
• Strong facilitation skills (requirements sessions, schedules and replans; progress and status meetings)
• Demonstrated and superior experience in diagnosing technical issues
