Self-Hosted ClassDojo-Style Platform -- 2
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I want to build from scratch a modern, playful school web app—think ClassDojo’s spirit but entirely our own design—running on my personal domain and server with full ownership of the source code and database.
Current scope is deliberately focused on the Student role. Students will:
• Earn monster-themed points that trigger smooth animations and sound effects.
• Submit text-based assignments that file automatically into a personal portfolio visible only to them and the admin.
Please craft an original, colorful UI (no reuse of ClassDojo assets) and make every screen bilingual from day one: flawless English plus Arabic with proper RTL layout.
Technical expectations
• Self-host friendly: standard Ubuntu VPS, MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Any open-source stack you prefer—Laravel, Django, Node, React, Vue, etc.—as long as setup remains straightforward.
• Clean architecture that leaves room to plug in Teacher and Parent accounts, class feeds, and messaging later without rewrites.
Deliverables
1. Fully responsive web app deployed on my server and domain.
2. Admin panel to create classes, manage avatars, and configure point categories.
3. Animated point-award interaction, student dashboard, and text-only assignment submission flow.
4. Bilingual (EN + AR) interface using translation files, RTL ready.
5. Complete source code in a repository, database schema, and one-command installation script (Docker or similar).
6. Thirty-day post-handover bug-fix window.
If you already have experience with gamified education platforms or multilingual interfaces, that will be a plus; feel free to reference a live demo or repo in your bid.
