I'm seeking a freelancer to develop a scalable delivery booking system. Initially, we will focus on basic API integration with the core delivery provider, Uber. The system should be designed to evolve into a comprehensive web and mobile application.
Week 1 Scope (MVP):
- Integrate Uber's core delivery provider API for fundamental pickup/delivery booking
- Implement necessary validation and error handling
- Create a basic test suite
- Establish a scalable architecture for future enhancements
Tech Stack:
- Frontend: React + TypeScript + Tailwind
- Backend: Node.js/Express + MongoDB
- Containerization: Docker
Deliverables:
- A working prototype with API integration
- A basic testing framework
- Comprehensive documentation
- Deployment setup
Key User Role: The system will cater primarily to the Customer user role.
Critical Validation Checks: The essential validation checks for the system will include Payment confirmation and Delivery schedule availability.
Ideal skills and experience for the job include:
- Proficiency in the specified tech stack
- Prior experience with API integration
- Knowledge in developing scalable systems
- Experience in creating test suites
- Documentation and deployment setup skills.
