Responsive Livestock Marketplace Platform
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I’m building a mobile-friendly online marketplace where farmers, breeders, and buyers can trade livestock, pets, and gamefowl with confidence. The core of the site will be a modern, responsive front end (React or Next.js feel ideal, but I’m open to any solid stack) backed by a secure Node.js, Laravel, or Django API and a well-structured MySQL database.
Key workflow
• New users (separate roles for farmers, breeders, and buyers) sign up, verify their email or phone, and create detailed profiles.
• They post listings with photos, price, breed, age, weight, and geo-tagged location, selecting from clear categories: Livestock, Pets, or Gamefowl.
• Visitors browse through fast search and multi-facet filters (category, location radius, weight range, price range, breed, etc.).
• Messaging happens via direct WhatsApp integration so any of the three roles can chat in real time without sharing personal numbers on the page.
• An admin dashboard lets me approve or reject listings, suspend users, and flag suspicious content to keep scams out.
Deliverables I need from you
– Fully responsive web app (mobile-first) with intuitive UX
– Role-based authentication and authorization
– Listing creation, edit, archive, and delete flows
– Robust search, filter, and pagination powered by MySQL indexes
– WhatsApp click-to-chat embedded in listing and user profile views (works only when both parties are logged in)
– Admin panel with user management, listing moderation, and simple analytics
– Hardened security (input validation, rate-limiting, OWASP checks) and clean, scalable codebase that supports future add-ons like GCash/PayMaya payments and transport-booking APIs
– Clear setup docs and a short handover walkthrough
Acceptance criteria
1. Page-speed Lighthouse score ≥ 90 on mobile.
2. All critical flows covered by automated tests or Postman collection.
3. Deployment script/container runs on a vanilla Ubuntu server in one command.
