Real-time Websocket Server with PHP

I'm in need of a robust WebSocket server, preferably built with PHP (though Node.js may also be considered), to handle various tasks from real-time data exchange to secure communication.
Key Features:
- Real-time Data Exchange: The server should be able to efficiently manage a medium volume of data, approximately 100-1000 messages per minute. This is crucial for timely information distribution.
- Web API Integration: The WebSocket server must seamlessly integrate with external Web APIs. This will enable the exchange of data between different systems, allowing for smooth functionality.
- Secure Communication: I require your expertise in implementing standard encryption protocols, particularly TLS, to ensure our communication remains confidential and secure.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in PHP (or Node.js) for server-side development, with a strong knowledge of WebSocket technology.
- Previous experience in handling medium-volume real-time data exchange is highly desirable.
- A good understanding of Web API integration methodologies and best practices.
- Proven track record in implementing secure communication solutions, particularly utilizing TLS.
Project Requirements (Websocket Server using PHP or Nodejs):
1. User Authentication:
◦ Implement user login through a web portal using a username, password, and an ID number, with authentication details stored in a PostgreSQL database.
2. User Identification:
◦ Ensure the system can identify all logged-in users by their username, password, and ID number.
3. Session Awareness:
◦ The web-socket server must track the connection and disconnection status of each user session.
4. Session Management:
◦ Prevent duplicate sessions for the same user and disallow login using duplicate IDs.
5. Logging and Updates:
◦ Update a specific table with the reason for user login, web-socket connection, and disconnection events.
6. Data Push and Actions:
◦ Enable the server to push data to a specific client and receive specific actions from the web client to perform backend operations with the database.
◦ Need to push data to specific part of the web client without page refresh (realtime)
7. Modular Integration:
◦ Ensure the server is modular and easily integrates with existing PHP scripts and functions.
8. Active Connection Data Handling:
◦ The web-socket server should manage data push and retrieval from logged-in clients through active web-socket connections.
9. Automatic Logout:
◦ Automatically log out the web client if the user ID is removed from the database.
