React Webapp Complete Overhaul

I’m ready to give my existing React webapp a top-to-bottom refresh. The current build have the main logic of the website but the user interface feels dated, performance issues , alot of backend logic is missing, and a few stubborn bugs keep re-appearing. On top of that, I have a shortlist of new features that need to slot smoothly into the codebase and hook into the existing backend logic.

Here’s what I need from you:

• User interface redesign: A modern, responsive look built with React, JSX, and styled-components (or your preferred CSS-in-JS solution) that adheres to current UX best practices.

• Performance optimization: Code-splitting, lazy loading, memorization, and any other techniques you deem necessary to reduce bundle size and improve time-to-interactive.

• New feature implementation: I’ll share wireframes ; your job is to translate them into clean, well-tested React components and integrate them with our REST/GraphQL endpoints.

• Bug squashing: Audit the existing code, identify problem areas, and resolve recurring issues without introducing regressions.

• Backend logic touch-ups: Minor Node/Express functions need refining so the front-end changes flow seamlessly.

I’ll provide full repo access, an issue tracker packed with context, and detailed acceptance criteria for each milestone. If you’re comfortable navigating an established codebase, refactoring where needed, and delivering production-ready React, let’s talk.
