React Native Mobile App Developer for Startup

Company
We are Veriswap (veriswap.com), a marketplace for swapping sports cards. We are currently looking for an experienced mobile developer. You will work towards the development of our mobile app using React Native. We have fleshed out product, but are looking to add another developer to speed up the process and make further improvements to the platform.
Additional Details
-The app uses React Native for the frontend and Node.js (specifically NestJS) on the backend.
-This is a remote, work from home position as part-time contractor.
-You will get start at 20 hours per week (part-time), with the ability to scale up to 40 hours per week depending on performance

-Must be available for 2 weekly 30 minute meetings at 8am EST
-This is an independent contractor position and no company equipment or expense -reimbursement is offered.
Responsibilities:
-Write clean code in React Native using Typescript
-Collaborate with multiple team members in English.
-Participate in team meetings 2x a week (8am EST, Mon / Weds).
-Be involved in conversations surrounding product and strategy.
Requirements:
-A bachelor’s degree is not required, but a strong portfolio / GitHub is a must.
-Be able to create high-quality code.
-Understanding of React components, hooks, lifecycle methods, DOM manipulation.
-A solid understanding of UI design, usability, security and accessibility.
-Positive, open-minded, and collaborative with strong self-management skills.
-Understanding of Agile, Design Patterns, Object-Oriented Design.
-Understanding of REST API's.
-Hands-on experience with GitHub (pull requests, branches, commits...).
Experience:
-App development using React Native + Typescript: 3 years+
-NestJS experience: 2 years+
-HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript: 1-2 years
-English: Read and write fluently
