React.js Developer for Full-Featured Web App

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced React.js developer to join our team on a freelance basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating our frontend application with our Node.js backend APIs. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain the frontend of our web application using React.js.
Integrate frontend components with backend APIs built on Node.js.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
Collaborate with backend developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code to enhance the user experience.
Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development and deployment.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a React.js developer.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating with Node.js backend services.
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
Experience with front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git).
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with server-side rendering and other performance optimization techniques.
Knowledge of modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
Experience with AWS is a plus.
Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
