React African Fashion Marketplace
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a seasoned React developer to bring an African-fashion marketplace to life—think macys.com re-imagined for designers from Lagos to Nairobi. The core site will be public-facing, fully responsive and modern-clean in look and feel, but behind it sits a multi-tenant dashboard where each designer signs up, builds a profile, uploads products, and tracks sales analytics without ever seeing another brand’s data.
Three account types run the platform: Designers, Shoppers, and an Admin layer for overall moderation and content approval. Designers must be able to log in securely, complete or edit their storefront profile, bulk-upload images, descriptions, prices and stock, then watch real-time metrics on views, orders and revenue. Shoppers browse by category, add to cart, purchase, and leave item-level reviews. Admin tools cover user management, listing approval, dispute resolution, and global settings.
Key deliverables I expect:
• Full React front end (TypeScript welcome) with a modern, clean UI/UX that highlights vibrant dress imagery without visual clutter.
• Password-reset, OAuth or email verification flow so each user role gains the right dashboard.
• Scalable back-end (Node/Express or serverless functions) with REST or GraphQL endpoints for product, order and review management.
• Media handling that optimises high-resolution photos and supports future video.
• Designer analytics module—sales totals, best-sellers, traffic sources—rendered with charting libraries.
• Review system that prevents duplicate ratings and flags abuse for Admin.
• Deployment to a cloud host (AWS, Vercel, or similar), SSL cert, and basic SEO schema in place.
I’ll supply brand guidelines and sample data; you’ll supply clean, well-documented code, a short hand-off video, and a staging link so we can test logins for Designer, Shopper, and Admin roles. Let’s build a showcase worthy of Africa’s brightest fashion talents.
