PROJECT TITLE:
Build Secure AI-Based Report Processing Platform (React + Node/Python + OCR + Payments)
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
We are building a secure web platform where users can upload reports and receive simplified AI-generated explanations.
This is NOT a basic CRUD or simple API integration project. It involves a multi-stage processing pipeline, strong backend architecture, and strict security requirements.
Core Functionalities:
1. File Upload System
- Secure upload (PDF, images)
- File validation, deduplication, and storage
- Temporary + permanent storage logic
2. Processing Pipeline (Two-Stage)
- Stage 1: OCR + basic preview (low-cost)
- Stage 2: Full AI processing (after payment)
- OCR reuse between stages
- Queue-based job processing
3. OCR & Data Extraction
- Extract structured data from reports
- Handle tables, units, and reference ranges
- Normalize and validate extracted data
4. AI Interpretation Layer
- Generate simplified explanations (non-diagnostic)
- Deterministic output with strict guardrails
- Schema-based structured output
5. Payment Integration
- Razorpay or Stripe
- Webhook-based verification (no frontend trust)
- Pay-per-report + subscription plans
6. Dashboard System
- Report listing, status tracking
- View, download, share reports
- Access control based on user plan
7. Security & Access Control (CRITICAL)
- Signed URLs for file access
- Role-based access
- Strict validation (ownership → access → status)
- Anti-abuse, rate limiting, and logging
8. System Requirements
- Idempotent APIs (uploads, payments, processing)
- Queue system (Redis/BullMQ or equivalent)
- Scalable architecture
- Clean database schema design
TECH STACK (Flexible but preferred):
- Frontend: React
- Backend: Node.js OR Python (FastAPI/Django)
- OCR: Tesseract / Google Vision API / equivalent
- AI: OpenAI or similar
- Database: PostgreSQL
- Queue: Redis + BullMQ / Celery
- Storage: AWS S3 / Cloudflare R2
