Personal React Native Delivery App – Final Touches & Simple Backend

I’ve created a local React Native delivery app for personal use. It allows two roles: Sender and Courier. Most of the features already work, but I want a freelancer to help finish and polish the app, and optionally connect it to a lightweight backend (like Firebase or a local Node.js server).

Features that are already built:

Account creation (username & password)

Role selection (Sender or Courier)

Link users together via username

Set inventory for couriers (products: rood, geel, blauw, snoep, sneeuw)

Chat between sender and courier

Order info includes address, selected products, and payment method (Tikkie, Cash, Pof)

Stock decreases automatically after delivery

Courier earns per product

Low-stock warning system (if any item is 3 or less)

What I need you to do:

Hide stock counts in the order screen (only visible for sender)

Improve the chat interface so it looks more like a real conversation

Allow live updating of chat (same screen for sender and courier)

Reset order fields (address, product selection) after each order

Optional: Connect to Firebase or a local backend to store messages, users, inventory

Suggest and implement small improvements to make the app faster and easier to use

Important:

This is for personal use only, not a public platform

The app must stay lightweight, clean, and local-first

If backend is added, it should be simple and optional (Firebase or Express.js)

Code must stay readable and maintainable

Deliverables:

Updated React Native code (preferably with Expo)

If backend is used: setup instructions + minimal hosting

Optional UI improvements (color, spacing, feedback)
