Project Description:
We are seeking a skilled freelancer to develop a dynamic and scalable multi-tenant web application. The project will involve creating both the backend and frontend components using NodeJS and Vite, respectively. The application will be designed to support multiple tenants, where each client can have access to and manage data across multiple tenants.
Key Features:
1. Tenant Management:
An admin should be able to create new tenants.
A user should be able to manage/read-only multiple tenants.
Each tenant should have its own dedicated Azure Cosmos DB for data storage.
2. Authentication:
Stateless authentication using JSON Web Tokens (JWT).
Utilize a common Azure SQL Database for user authentication.
3. Azure Cosmos DB Integration:
Seamless integration of Azure Cosmos DB for each tenant during the tenant creation process.
Enable secure and efficient communication between the web application and the respective Azure Cosmos DB for each tenant.
4. Docker Containerization:
Separate the frontend and backend into two distinct Docker containers for ease of deployment and scalability.
5. Vite Template Integration:
Utilize an existing Vite template pack for the frontend, ensuring a modern and efficient development experience. The design has been made.
6. Scalability:
Design the architecture to support horizontal scaling to accommodate growing user and tenant bases.
Requirements:
Proficient in NodeJS for backend development.
Experience with Vite for frontend development.
Expertise in working with Azure services, specifically Azure Cosmos DB and Azure SQL Database.
Strong understanding of stateless authentication using JWT.
Ability to containerize applications using Docker.
Deliverables:
1. Backend (NodeJS):
User authentication using JWT.
API endpoints for tenant management.
Integration with Azure SQL Database for user authentication.
Seamless integration of Azure Cosmos DB for each tenant.
2. Frontend (Vite):
Utilization of the provided Vite template pack.
