Node Project Error Fix: ObjectId Issue
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I'm encountering an error in my basic Node project, which needs immediate attention. The error states: "cast to objectId failed for value '{ _id:undefined }' (type object) at path '_id' for model User."
My project involves two schemas: Shop Schema and User Schema, with the Shop Schema referencing the User Schema. I do not have any middleware or hooks in use with either schema.
Ideal skills for this job include:
- Proficiency in Node.js
- Strong understanding of MongoDB and Mongoose
- Experience in debugging schema-related errors
- Ability to work within a $40 budget to fix this error.
Please note, unfortunately, I didn’t specify the type of operation being attempted when this error was encountered, as I skipped that question. I'm using push operator to push the item the product likes array so i can keep track of all who like the specific product. Everything is set just need a quick briefing of what i'm missing or not doing.
