Hello and thank you for considering this project! I am a small business owner who needs to automate a time consuming manual process of meal planning for my customers. By taking on this task, you will be helping people get restorative, nutritious meals at a time when they need all the help they can get. Main Goal: Create weekly meal plans for multiple customers while minimizing the number of unique recipes it takes to meet all of their dietary requirements.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Node.js and unit testing
- Git
- Knowledge of algorithms i.e. you know what an unbounded knapsack problem is and how it could be solved
- Good communication skills: you give daily updates on what you have achieved the day before, what your goals are for today and any blockers you have
Your assignment, should you choose to accept it:
- Using Node.js, create a function that, when given a date range, Customers, Diets and Recipes, would create a Meal Plan for that date range that would satisfy the Customers' dietary restrictions
- Provide100% unit test coverage
