Node.js Backend Developer
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
We are looking for a Backend Developer with content streaming, payment and ecommerce experience in commercial software engineering who is willing and able to work with more than one software programming language as listed in the tech stack section. About the Role
The company is a start-up building a mobile app product in the meditation, mindfulness, sleep and socialization space (ref: Calm.com, Simplehabit.com, Aurahealth.io). The core product is an enterprise B2C and B2B solution to connect users to effectively improve health, wellbeing and increase happiness.
Tech Stack
• Programming Language: Swift
• OS Development Tools: Xcode
• UI Framework: UIKit or SwiftUI
• Backend Language: Node.js
• Database Language: MongoDB
Required Skills
• You have 5+ years of solid Backend experience working on large SPAs
• You work well with designers and have a good understanding of (and respect for) the relationship between product managers and engineers
• You have 5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer and you are comfortable working in HTML as you are in backend languages like Node.js
• You have 5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer in deciding what API architectural style to use, form an API style guide then determine requirements, designing & prototyping, developing, testing, publishing/Deploying, monitoring APIs.
