Tour Guide Management System (MERN Stack)
I am building a Tour Guide Management System for travelers and guides using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
Features:
User Registration/Login:
Users can register as either a Traveler or Guide.
Authentication using JWT (JSON Web Token).
Passwords are securely stored with bcrypt.
Guide Profile Creation (Guide Only):
Guides can create a profile with details such as:
Bio
Phone number
Experience
Languages
State of operation
Only guides can create and edit their profiles.
Guide Listing/Search by State:
Travelers can search for guides based on their state.
Guides are listed along with their names and email.
Booking System:
Travelers can book a guide by selecting a guide from the list.
Guides can accept or reject bookings.
The booking system records the status of the booking.
Itinerary Management (For Accepted Bookings):
Once a guide accepts a booking, they can create and manage an itinerary for the traveler.
The traveler can view the itinerary for their tour.
Admin Panel (optional, if added later):
Admins can view all guides, travelers, and bookings.
Admins can perform operations like adding/removing guides.

Frontend:
React.js for building the user interface
React Router for client-side routing
Axios for making API requests
