Multi-Vendor Fashion Marketplace Development

I’m looking for an experienced developer to build a multi-vendor fashion marketplace for emerging brands, inspired by StockX, Vinted, and Shopify.
The platform will allow vendors (fashion brand owners) to create customizable shops on a subscription basis (Standard/Premium), upload products, and receive payments via Stripe Connect, incorporating KYC and split payouts.
The marketplace will feature a curated environment — all product listings will be reviewed and approved by admin before going live.
Key features include:
Product moderation by admin (manual approval before publishing)
Vendor subscription plans (Standard/Premium)
Commission-based sales in addition to subscriptions
Brand profile pages with social media links
Following system for brands + notifications for restocks/new drops
Positive/negative review system (no star ratings)
“Top Brands” section based on sales and reviews
Personalized feed based on user likes and purchases
Technical Requirements:
Preferred platform: Custom solution with React/Node (open to suggestions)
User authentication: Email and password
Stripe Connect integration with KYC and split payouts (escrow style)
Mobile-responsive, scalable architecture
Ideal Skills and Experience:
Strong background in React and Node development
Proven experience building multi-vendor marketplace platforms
Familiarity with Stripe Connect, KYC processes, and payment splitting
Ability to implement robust moderation, subscription, and personalization features
Open to discussing any additional features or suggestions that could improve scalability, user experience, and monetization.
