MeshCentral UI Feature Enhancements

Job ID: 40279529

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I’m running a self-hosted MeshCentral server on Ubuntu 24 Linux and I need two equally important improvements added to its web interface.

1) Per-user concurrent-session cap
From the UI I want to be able to enter a number that represents the maximum simultaneous device connections or remote sessions a given user can open. Once that threshold is reached, additional connection attempts must be blocked until an existing session ends. The setting must work on a per-user basis without impacting other users or global server limits.

2) Account expiry date control
I also need a date picker in the user–edit screen that lets me set an explicit expiry date for an account. When that day arrives the account should become disabled automatically, with no manual cleanup required. An admin must still be able to re-enable or adjust the date later.

Both features must function reliably on the current Linux build of MeshCentral and persist through server restarts and future version upgrades.

Deliverables
• Source-code changes (Node.js / Express / AngularJS components) clearly commented
• Simple build or deployment instructions so I can reproduce the working binary on my server
• A short test plan demonstrating that the session cap and expiry trigger behave as intended

Please show past work that proves you have modified or extended MeshCentral, similar Node.js management portals, or comparable real-time session systems. I’m ready to merge as soon as the features test cleanly on my production box.
