We are seeking a skilled freelancer to join our team and contribute to the further development of our web application, Skyhub. we require assistance in enhancing the existing features and ensuring a polished user experience.
Skyhub is a comprehensive database of airline information, encompassing key metrics, hiring details, and job offers for three main categories: pilots, cabin crew, and air traffic control. The platform also facilitates the management of airline insights through a control panel, which includes different levels of access for administrators, airline representatives, and recruiters.
To provide some context on our tech stack, the codebase is hosted on GitHub, while documentation is maintained on Confluence. Project management is handled via Jira, and our code is organized using Turborepo. The frontend of the application is built with Next.js, utilizing the pages router, while the main backend is developed using Node.js and Express. We also have an additional backend service for serving static files. All code is written in TypeScript. Our database of choice is MySQL, with its structure thoroughly documented on Confluence. For styling, we employ SCSS and TailwindCSS.
While most of the features are already implemented, they require additional refinement. Specifically, the control panel is in its early stages, and both frontend and backend validation processes need to be reviewed. Further tasks and issues can be found and assigned through our Jira board.
We are looking for a freelancer who is experienced in web application development, particularly in the specified tech stack. The ideal candidate should possess strong attention to detail and be capable of delivering high-quality work within agreed-upon timelines. Experience with airline systems or related domains is a plus.
