JavaScript with React.JS and Node.JS Developer

Gritsa Technologies is actively seeking a Senior Developer cum Technical Lead for one of its important client projects.
About the Project
• This is a B2B and B2C web-based content generation platform
• The platform allows users to pull content from existing third party sites on to their own site using predefined scrapers
• Users can select to pick content from a list of supported sites and publish the content to their own destination site
• For now only WordPress based sites are allowed as destination, but in next phases regular websites will be supported as well
• Scripting language: JavaScript
• Front-end tool: React and Redux
• Back-end tool: NodeJS, ExpressJS
• Database: MongoDB, WordPress plugin integration
• Current state: In progress project, around 70% pre-launch phase completed, most part of UI and Scrapers complete. Payment integration and subscription planning yet to be done
Roles & Responsibilities
• You will be owning the project as the primary developer cum technical lead
• Your role involves working in multiple capacities – developer, technical lead, team lead, project and account manager to drive the whole project, taking full ownership of project delivery, trouble shooting and regular proactive client communication
• You must be comfortable with direct client communication, requirements gathering, sprint planning and execution, maintaining the application including bug fixes and deployment
• You must be available on Slack or other channels to solve client or team queries on a real-time basis. You will be the point of contact for the client. You must provide daily updates to client and the internal team on Slack or other communication channels
• Most importantly, you must work as a consultant, guiding the client on regular basis on how they can think through their requirement and improve
Required Skills
• 1 – 3 years of experience in full-cycle implementation of software development projects and Full Stack projects
• Experience in architecting applications, and shaping the whole project
• Experience with client-side programming HTML, CSS, AJAX, BootStrap, jQuery etc
• Experience in JavaScript with React.JS, Express, Node.JS, basic MongoDB/SQLServer/ PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of various processes like planning, development, deployment and maintenance of a web application
• Integration with backend services using REST APIs
• Must have good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent and proactive communication skills (very important)
Other Details
• Expected number of hours per day: 4 - 8 hours
• Working hours – anytime between 10 am and 8 pm
• Working days – Monday to Friday
• Client calls: 1 – 2 per week
• Other calls – daily SCRUM call with the project manager
• Team composition: you will be working independently as the owner of the project and occasionally get inputs from an architect
