JavaScript developer (ideally with Ethereum experience)
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
Hi,
I am searching for a JavaScript developer to help me on a personal project. Hourly rate would be 25 USD. Tasks that need to be completed are stated in the following. Please leave a total estimate of time you will require for the project. Also make sure that you fully understand the requirements.
Project
===
The project is a wallet recovery tool. If scammers get your key you might have locked tokens connected to that wallet. This project is meant to recover these tokens (mainly ERC20). A rough frontend was already implemented https://immense-sands-57232.herokuapp.com/
Tasks
===
* Truffle Install on Ubuntu 18.04 + Node/NPM Setup (write docs)
* JS frontend fix. Currently the contract address in the "Recover token" field is not changed. Add all large ERC20 tokens https://www.coinlore.com/token-types/erc20/all Find a list; make sure that the list contains contract addresses.
* WebSocket (ether.js) listen to new blocks and check for incoming transfers to the public key wallet. Do not use web3.js because the framework is usually quite buggy.
* Fix blue focus effect CSS in submit button.
Requirements
===
* Write proper documentation! You are not the only developer working on the code.
* Some experience with node/npm and mongodb. This is the current database backend.
* Experience with GitHub. You will work on an existing private repo. I will setup a branch for you and merge once a task is completed.
* Invoice. I need a valid invoice for tax purposes. Ideally you can write a valid European invoice. Otherwise please provide name and address so I can fill out the required invoice afterwards for you.
* TailScale. To connect to the Ubuntu server you will need to setup TailScale. Please provide me with your email via chat so I can add you to the project.
* Ideally zoom to organize a call for updates.
* Confidential. Code generated is confidential and is not meant to be shared publically for now. Some parts of the code base might be open sourced lateron, but please do not share any code publically that is generated in the private repo during employment.
If you got to this point congrats :) You are likely not a bot. Please start your bid with >> JS. If you have any questions please also leave them in the bid description. Just makes it easier instead of chat where most of the information gets lost. Happy bidding!
