Install angular.js npm on Linux, ideally with Docker

We have a static website which currently resides in visual studio. It is an angular.js site with npm. We need to install it and get it running on Ubuntu Linux - we would prefer it to be in a Docker container. You need to take the files you need from the visual studio container and get them up and running on an Ubuntu Linux machine and show us how to do it.
