Hiring a Full Stack Engineer (NO AGENCIES!!!) for Node.js/React.js project - Immediate hire

I'm looking for a full stack engineer with an eye for design to take over development of my Node.js/React.js web app and build a new module into the app using existing code and framework. This is a position I am hiring for immediate start! If you are an agency or agency owner please do not apply to this position. Your application / proposal will not be considered. I would like to hire an individual that I can work 1 on 1 with.
This position will be a 2-3 month contract with the opportunity to stay on full or part time upon the successful delivery of this project.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Building new module to deliver video files to recipients via SMS and Email
- Building content database and interface to search, sort, and filter videos and files using meta tags
- Developing detailed project scope including user stories, wireframe, etc...
- Enhancing the User Interface: You should have a keen eye for design and be able to implement a clean, modern aesthetic throughout the application.
- Responsive Layout: You will ensure the app is fully responsive across various devices and screen sizes.
- You will ensure that the app functions correctly on all major browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
- You will optimize the frontend to ensure fast load times and smooth interactions.
- You will integrate frontend components with RESTful APIs to ensure seamless data flow.
While we have some design guidelines in place, they are not comprehensive. Thus, your ability to interpret and expand upon these guidelines will be crucial. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in frontend and back end development, user interface design, and experience with creating responsive layouts. A portfolio demonstrating your design and development skills and previous work on similar projects will be highly advantageous.
