Job Title: Full-Stack Developer for Gmail Automation Tool
1. Project Overview
We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer (or a small development team) to build an internal Gmail Automation Tool.
The system will automate Gmail operations such as reading, filtering, categorizing, replying, forwarding, labeling, and scheduling emails—based on predefined user workflows.
The SRS (Software Requirements Specification) and system design are already completed.
We now require a developer to implement, test, and deploy the system end-to-end.
2. Core Responsibilities
The developer will be responsible for:
Designing and implementing a full web-based automation system with frontend, backend, and automation layers.
Integrating the Gmail API to read, send, manage, and automate emails.
Building an interface for defining automation rules (e.g., “If subject contains ‘invoice’, label as Finance”).
Securely storing all user data, credentials, tokens, and rule configurations.
Creating separate staging and production environments for testing and deployment.
Setting up Docker for packaging and consistent environment management.
(Optional) Implementing Kubernetes for scalability and container orchestration.
Adding monitoring and alerting via AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, or equivalent tools.
Performing complete testing (unit, integration, user acceptance, and load testing).
Ensuring full deployment and documentation for internal teams.
