A fintech company is looking for a full stack web developers aimed at creating a new framework in the machine learning and artificial intelligence field within the financial services industry, customized on the basis of the domain and the needs of the market. Only candidates in the wide NYC Metro area considered.
Work context
The selected person will carry out his work in a Startup, which aims to create financial decision-making tools based on the use of increasingly advanced algorithmic software. In fact, the company was born in particular with the aim of developing feedback technologies for peer to peer trading and to launch market- places or integration technologies for the sale of illiquid credits and to provide liquidity and financial solutions aimed at the liquid credit market. thus transforming some products, such as invoices, credits and loans, into financial products.
Tasks
In particular, we are looking for a person with a background in computer science, computer science, mathematics, physics, or related subjects, and who has already had a period of experience as a developer (appreciated from one to two years), training in particular development experience in Java, Javascript and in framework environments such as Angular , React , Web Components, Vue.js.
The objective will be to carry out development activities so that, starting from already existing machine learning frameworks , we arrive at the creation of a new customized framework based on the needs of the company, in the financial domain (liquid credits, default , risk ). The goal is then to be able to use this customized framework for the production of cutting-edge outputs in the financial field, as they are based on the most advanced technologies.

The remuneration will be discussed with the candidates also on the basis of the conditions of the chosen candidate, starting as a minimum from that foreseen at national level for this type of position.

Skills required
ESSENTIALS: it is considered an indispensable requirement to know how to program in Javascript, Java and Python and to have knowledge and experience in one of these frameworks as Node.js, Angular , React , Web Components, Vue.js environments.
The ability to modify or adapt user interface elements or extend UI solutions to different usage scenarios and to have and experience in API design is also essential .
IMPORTANT: It is considered an important requirement to have knowledge and experience in at least one Machine Learning or Deep Learning framework .
PLEASE . It is welcome but not considered a fundamental requirement to already have some experience and knowledge in the financial domain.
Finally, preference will be given to candidates who meet one or more of the following requirements:
Experience in web development - Javascript , HTML5, CSS, PHP, MySQL
Experience in major CSS frameworks : Bootstrap, Foundation, Semantic UI, etc.
Experience in creating themes for the most popular CMS ( such as Drupal , Wordpress , Joomla ) and for static website generators ( such as jekyll , hugo , etc. )
Experience in business develop some of the solutions given Displa ation interactive based d3.js
Experience in the latest CSS3 implementations
Excellent knowledge of browser support for most modern web techniques
Experience in using html5 web
Experience in Task Runners, Build Tools, Dependency Managers, Package Managers
Solid understanding of application architectures and object-oriented design
Experience in understanding large and complex code bases, including API design and versioning techniques to facilitate cleanup and maintainability
Experience in messaging protocols
Knowledge of at least a framework of Deep Learning;
Knowledge of non-relational databases
