Job Title: Full Stack Developer Needed to Build Alibaba-style Marketplace for Nigeria-UK Trade
Job Description: We are launching TradeSource360, a subscription-based B2B and B2C multi-vendor marketplace inspired by Alibaba, specifically designed to connect reliable Nigerian suppliers of natural resources and goods with UK-based buyers.
We need an experienced Full Stack Developer who can create a scalable, secure, and user-friendly platform from scratch. The developer should replicate core Alibaba functionalities, adapted to our niche, and design an intuitive, mobile-responsive interface that maximizes product discoverability and user conversion.
Core Requirements:
Frontend: React.js / Next.js with Tailwind CSS
Backend: Node.js / Django / Laravel (your expertise will guide the final choice)
Mobile App: React Native / Flutter (planned for future)
Database: PostgreSQL / MongoDB
Payment Integration: Paystack, Flutterwave, Stripe (escrow functionality)
Messaging: Real-time chat integration (Firebase, Twilio, or custom WebSocket)
Hosting: AWS / DigitalOcean / Vercel

Supplier registration and KYC verification
Buyer registration with secure authentication
Product catalog with intuitive category navigation (mega-menu, hierarchical categories)
Product listings with detailed attributes (price range, MOQ, trade terms, images, certifications)
Request for Quotation (RFQ) management
Escrow payment system
Verified supplier badges and ratings
Monthly subscription plans (Basic and Premium) for suppliers and advertisers
Comprehensive filter/search options (price, category, certification, location, supplier ratings)
B2B-specific features (bulk orders, RFQ cart, custom quotations)
B2C-specific features (direct purchase, reviews, wishlist)
Admin panel with analytics and moderation tools
Preferred Experience:
Proven experience building e-commerce marketplaces (similar projects strongly preferred)
