Full-Stack Developer (Nextjs + Nodejs) – Fast Delivery for Well-Scoped Web App Tasks
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
EXPECTED PROJECT DEADLINE: 1-2 weeks max (Upwork made us put 1-3 months, but that's wrong)
We are looking for a skilled and reliable full-stack developer to jump in immediately and tackle several high-impact tasks for Main Street Fantasy, a gamified crypto trading competition platform.
This is a fixed-price project ($500 budget**) with clearly scoped tasks and a tight deadline (expected delivery within 1–2 weeks max). We need someone who can pick things up fast and execute efficiently—no hand-holding.**
All code will be reviewed by our CTO, who will also conduct interviews—so we’re looking for real experience, clean coding standards, and fast turnaround.
Tech Stack:
Frontend: Next.js, Tailwind CSS, GraphQL (Hasura)
Backend: Next.js serverless functions (Node.js), PostgreSQL (Hasura)
Key Tasks:
Add phone number to account creation flow and store securely in Hasura DB.
Implement auto-approval of users into competitions (with logic to display them on the leaderboard only after their first trade).
Update all competition-related URLs from /games to /competitions across the app.
Set up Meta (Facebook) server-side events using Next.js serverless functions for conversion tracking.
(We already have a Meta Business account and tokens—let us know if you need anything additional to implement.)
What We’re Looking For:
Strong experience with Next.js + Tailwind CSS
Confident working with Hasura/GraphQL + PostgreSQL
Experience (or ability to quickly implement) Meta/Facebook server-side events
Fast learner, fast executor—someone who can own the tasks and deliver quickly
Clean, modular, maintainable code
Timeline & Budget:
Budget: $500 fixed price
Expected delivery: within 1–2 weeks (max)
(Note: Upwork requires us to select “1–3 months” but this is a short-term project.)
To Apply:
Please include:
A brief intro to your experience with the tech stack
Links to past projects, GitHub repos, or code samples
Your confirmation of immediate availability and acceptance of the $500 budget
Note:
Successful delivery will likely lead to future collaboration opportunities—this is the first of many projects.
