Full-Stack Dev for AI-Powered Chat Application

We have purchased a chat application source code (Node.js backend with Socket.IO, React.js + Tailwind frontend, MySQL database) and need an experienced full-stack developer to:

Tasks to be Done:

1. Setup & Configuration

Install and configure backend (Node.js + Socket.IO)

Setup frontend (React.js + Tailwind CSS)

Connect database (MySQL)

Configure OTP gateway (Twilio / Msg91)



2. Rebranding & Customization

Change app name, branding, and logo

Rename files, folders, and variables to match our new brand

Remove any old/unwanted license references

Rewrite documentation for our brand

Redesign 5 key screens (Login, Chat List, Chat Window, Profile, Settings) with a modern UI



3. Database Updates

Rename tables with new prefixes

Add extra fields (e.g., profile picture, last seen, bio)

Optimize for scalability



4. New AI-Powered Features

AI Auto-Reply Bot → If the user is offline, AI should reply on their behalf

Smart Message Suggestions → While typing, AI provides quick reply options

AI-powered Moderation → Detect abusive or spam messages and block them automatically



5. Deployment

Deploy backend & frontend on server

Setup environment variables & production build

Provide full documentation for future updates

Requirements for Developer:

Strong experience with Node.js, Socket.IO, React.js, Tailwind CSS, MySQL

Experience with AI/ML integration (OpenAI API or similar)

Prior work in chat/messaging apps preferred

Clean coding and ability to provide complete documentation

Must ensure the app looks unique & fully rebranded
Deliverables:

Fully working chat app (backend + frontend + database)

5 redesigned screens (responsive UI with Tailwind CSS)

New AI features (auto-reply, smart suggestions, moderation) integrated

Deployment-ready code + full documentation
