Full Stack Dev for Bread Ambassador App

PROJECT BRIEF: Bread Ambassador App - Backend & Full Integration

Overview:

We have completed the front-end design of the Bread Ambassador App, built using modern front-end technologies (Next.js or Vite.js depending on final stack). We are now seeking an experienced full-stack developer or back-end developer to build the remaining components and fully integrate the system for launch.

The app will power a bread production and distribution business, including order management, customer accounts, ambassador management, and payment processing.

Scope of Work:

1️⃣ Backend Development

Build scalable and secure RESTful APIs to support the front-end

Develop full business logic for:

Order management system

Ambassador referral system (unique codes, tracking commissions)

Inventory management

Admin dashboard for management oversight

2️⃣ Database Design & Development

Design and implement database architecture

Data tables for: Users, Orders, Products, Ambassadors, Transactions, Inventory, Reports

Preferred technologies: PostgreSQL or MySQL

3️⃣ User Authentication & Security

Implement secure user authentication system (JWT or OAuth2)

User roles: Admin, Customer, Ambassador

Data encryption & secure password storage

4️⃣ Payments Integration

Integration with Stripe (preferred) or PayPal for:

Customer payments

Ambassador payouts

Commission tracking

Transaction histories

5️⃣ Notifications

Email notifications (order confirmations, password resets, etc.)

SMS integration (optional)

Webhooks for payment events

6️⃣ Admin Panel

Build a web-based interface for administrative tasks such as:

Managing products, orders, ambassadors, payouts, and users

Generating simple reports

7️⃣ Deployment & Hosting Support

Support final deployment and integration with existing front-end on Vercel

Setup staging & production environments

Provide developer documentation for maintenance

Tech Stack (preferred but not mandatory):

Backend: Node.js (Express.js or NestJS)

Database: PostgreSQL / MySQL

Front-end (already built): Next.js or Vite.js with Tailwind CSS

Payments: Stripe

Hosting: Vercel (front-end), any scalable backend host (e.g. Render, Railway, Supabase, AWS, etc.)

Deliverables:

Fully functional and tested backend system

Integrated system with current front-end

Admin panel dashboard

Developer documentation for handover

Initial 30-60 days post-launch bug support

Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience building full-stack or backend-heavy apps

Experience with payment integration, API design, and secure authentication

Ability to work independently and deliver within agreed timelines

Strong communication and documentation skills
