Fix NestJS Startup Failure
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My NestJS backend refuses to boot. The code compiles fine, but the moment the server begins its initialization cycle it simply exits—no stack trace, no console output, nothing. I need a fresh set of eyes to trace the silent failure, identify the root cause, and get the service running again.
Scope of work
• Pull the repo (private Git Hub) and reproduce the “no-error” crash during initialization.
• Enable or add appropriate logging, breakpoints, or debug flags to surface the hidden exception.
• Pinpoint and fix the underlying issue—whether it’s a mis-configured module, provider, or a subtle lifecycle hook problem.
• Verify that the application starts normally with npm run start:dev and npm run start:prod.
• Provide a concise change log or pull request summarizing what was altered and why, so I can review and merge confidently.
I can grant temporary access to the environment variables and a staging database if needed. Once the fix is confirmed in staging, I’ll handle deployment to production.
