Enterprise Software Architect (Hands-On) – KYC / Compliance Platform (USA LLC)

Job ID: 40145154

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

Architect-Track | Earn-In Opportunity

Project Overview

We operate KYCgini, a production-ready KYC / AML compliance platform owned and operated by a USA-registered LLC.

The platform includes:

Node.js + TypeScript backend

React / Vite admin and client dashboards

KYC onboarding, document verification, risk scoring, audit logs

Sanctions / PEP screening integrations

Solana wallet verification for identity context (not trading)

CI/CD pipelines already in place

This is not a greenfield build and not an MVP.

We are seeking a hands-on Enterprise Software Architect to take ownership of system design, architectural decisions, and long-term technical direction, while working closely with an existing execution developer.

Engagement Model (Important – Please Read)

This is an architect-track role, starting with a paid probation / internship phase.

Phase 1 – Architect-Track (Initial 3–6 Months)

Commitment: Approximately 4 hours daily

Compensation: USD 300 per month

Focus:

Review and guide backend architecture

Validate KYC lifecycle and compliance flows

Mentor and work alongside the execution developer

Be hands-on where needed (Node.js / TypeScript)

Stabilize and harden the platform for first enterprise clients

This phase is about earning trust, ownership, and long-term responsibility.

Phase 2 – Growth & Upside (Post Validation)

Based strictly on performance and contribution, this role may evolve to include:

Increased monthly compensation

Formal Software Architect / Tech Lead ownership

Equity or token-based incentives in the US entity or platform

Long-term involvement in roadmap and client delivery

Nothing is promised upfront.
All growth is earned through execution and commitment.

Role Expectations

This is a hands-on architecture role.
You will both design and validate systems in a live environment.

Core Responsibilities

Own overall backend and system architecture

Define and enforce architectural standards and guardrails

Design and evolve KYC lifecycle flows:

Onboarding

Risk scoring

Audit logging

Data retention and traceability

Review and guide implementation work from execution engineers

Ensure compliance-grade reliability, scalability, and observability

Participate in technical decision-making (buy vs build, tooling, integrations)

Be hands-on where required (Node.js / TypeScript)

What This Role Is NOT

Not a diagram-only or advisory role

Not a junior architect position

Not a rewrite or framework-migration mandate

Not a CTO title for resume padding

Technical Environment

Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, REST APIs, JWT

Compliance: KYC / AML systems, audit trails, risk engines

Blockchain: Solana RPC, wallet signature verification (identity only)

Infrastructure: Cloud-based (Render / AWS / Kubernetes exposure helpful)

CI/CD: Existing pipelines in place

Ideal Profile

Proven experience designing and owning production backend systems

Background in compliance-heavy or regulated environments preferred

Strong system thinking and architectural decision-making

Comfortable reviewing code and guiding other engineers

Clear communicator with low ego and high accountability

Interested in long-term ownership, not short freelance gigs
