Our current site feels dated and sluggish; I want it rebuilt on WordPress, layered with JavaScript and a lightweight Node.js back-end where it makes sense. The main objective is a markedly better user experience. That means pages that load noticeably faster, a clean corporate-professional interface, and smart AI enhancements such as on-page content recommendations or a support chatbot that learns from our knowledge base.

Here’s what I need from you:

• A fresh WordPress theme (custom or well-supported premium) coded for speed—critical CSS, deferred JS, image optimisation, caching and CDN setup.
• Sleek, corporate UI/UX mock-ups approved before you start templating; I’m after a polished, professional look rather than anything too playful.
• JavaScript interactivity kept lean; where heavier lifting is required, spin it off to our Node.js layer via APIs.
• At least one AI-driven feature (e.g., personalised product suggestions or an integrated chatbot) integrated end-to-end so I can see measurable UX value.
• Analytics hooks in place so we can track performance and engagement changes from day one.
• Clear hand-off: documentation, source files, and a short Loom walk-through of the admin area and AI components.

Acceptance criteria: desktop pages consistently under 1.5 s load on GTmetrix, mobile under 2 s; design aligns with the approved corporate mock-ups; AI feature passes functional test scripts we’ll supply.
