I'm seeking a seasoned Windows-based developer to identify and fix bugs in my ElectronJS application. The macOS version is working properly, but there are instances of hard-coded forward slashes which work on Unix systems but not Windows. There may be other OS specific issues.
Ideal skills for this job include:
- Proficiency in Typescript, particularly with ElectronJS
- Debugging expert. You know how to use the Node.js debugger and use it to your advantage
- Ability to follow logic through a complex codebase
The tech stack is as follows:
- React frontend (Electron render process)
- NestJS (spawned as a standalone process by the Electron main process)
There is good documentation for helping you to get started with the project. There are 2 other developers actively working on the codebase.
Please provide your relevant experience and examples of similar projects you've completed. Thank you, and I hope to be working with you soon!
