The "Workflow App" is intended to give teams more control over status changes within monday.com based on customizable conditions. The app will improve workflow integrity by introducing restrictions and conditions that ensure status transitions follow predefined rules.
Key Features of the Workflow App:
- User-based Conditional Transitions: Restrict or allow status changes based on the user’s role within the monday.com account.
- Status Progression Tracking: Enable conditional status selection based on prior statuses, enforcing a logical progression through stages.
- Column Content Dependency: Allow or restrict status changes depending on the content in other columns (e.g., a status change is only allowed if specific criteria in other columns are met).
Scope of Work:
- Develop the app using React.js for the front end and Node.js for the back end.
- Use GraphQL API to interact with monday.com’s API for data retrieval and manipulation.
Implement conditional logic to control item status transitions based on:
- User roles and permissions.
