Custom SMTP Bulk Email Script
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need a reliable, easy-to-run script that can push out a large volume of emails through my own SMTP server. The goal is simple: feed the script a list of recipients, some HTML or plain-text content, hit run, and watch the messages go out without choking on size or volume limits.
Key points you should know
• The SMTP credentials are ready; no Gmail or Outlook APIs involved.
• Speed matters—I’d like a working, test-passed version as soon as possible.
• Language is up to you. Python, Node, or another mainstream option is fine as long as the final command is straightforward and the dependencies are minimal.
What I need from you
– A script that connects to my custom SMTP server, authenticates, and sends to a list pulled from a CSV or simple text file.
– Sensible throttling so we don’t trip spam filters or server limits.
– Error handling with clear console or log output for any failed sends.
– A short README explaining setup, the command to run, and where to adjust server, sender, and batch settings.
Once I can run the script on my machine, send a test batch, and see clean logs, we’re good to close the project. I’m ready to move fast—let me know your proposed timeline and any quick questions you have.
