Custom PDF From Web Form

Job ID: 40179948

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have an existing online web form that collects plain text answers and, once submitted, must instantly turn those entries into a polished PDF that follows a layout I will supply. You will receive the design mock-up—logo placement, fonts, margins, header/footer, everything—so the generated document has to match it precisely on any PDF reader.

The form is standard HTML/JavaScript; the back-end environment is flexible (PHP, Python, or Node are all fine on my Linux host). I simply need a lightweight, well-commented script or endpoint that:

• accepts the POSTed text data
• merges it with my template exactly as specified
• outputs the finished PDF for download, email, or server storage (whichever is easiest to wire in)

Deliverables
• Fully working code with clear comments
• Pixel-perfect implementation of the supplied layout, including fonts and spacing
• Quick setup guide showing how to install and map new fields
• Proof that long text strings and special characters render cleanly without layout shifts

Acceptance is straightforward: after deployment I’ll submit a sample form, receive the PDF, and confirm every field sits in the right spot and mirrors the design. If you have experience with libraries such as FPDF, TCPDF, Dompdf, wkhtmltopdf, or similar, feel free to use the one you know best—as long as the final result is accurate and lightweight.
