Cross-Platform Rideshare App Build
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m ready to create a fully fledged ridesharing solution, similar in spirit to Uber, that launches simultaneously on iOS and Android. The heart of the product is a robust ride-matching algorithm that pairs passengers with nearby drivers quickly and reliably, even in areas of dense demand.
Three distinct user experiences are required:
• Passenger app for booking, real-time status updates, and in-app support
• Driver app for accepting trips, navigation, and earnings reporting
• Web-based admin console to oversee trips, users, pricing rules, and dispute management
While GPS tracking, payment processing, and push notifications will ultimately be part of the roadmap, phase one must deliver the following acceptance criteria:
1. Smooth sign-up / login flows for all roles (SMS or email verification).
2. Accurate back-end matching that considers ETA, driver rating, and surge logic.
3. Real-time trip state updates displayed on Flutter/Dart or React Native front ends (I’m open to the framework you prefer).
4. Scalable server architecture—Node.js, Python, or Go microservices connecting to a Postgres or MongoDB database—with Swagger or Postman docs for each endpoint.
5. Admin dashboard analytics: live trip list, heatmaps, and adjustable fare multipliers.
6. Clean, commented code pushed to a private GitHub repo and staged on TestFlight and Google Play Internal Testing for review.
If you have prior experience shipping location-based, high-concurrency apps and can demonstrate a working prototype of the matching logic within the first milestone, I’d love to see your approach and timeline.
