Consultance for creating a zillow-like platform

We are a digital marketing agency with 10+ years of experience in developing websites and online marketing.

Currently we’re in the process of creating a platform with features similar to the ones on zillow, trulia and compass.

We need consultance in:
- choosing between node.js and laravel for the server side
- database architecture
- tips and best practices for:
- setting up the environment and database + connections
- coding in the environment
- keeping the code modular
- SEO best practices for the front end
- advices about the modules we should use based on our needs
- advices on what to use for the front end, on the long term: for now we plan on using plain html instead of react or angular
- any other good to know practices and advices you might know

Further on, as we develop the platform, we intend to keep our collaboration going and ask you for advices when we get stuck, and even help with implementing different parts of the platform.
