Connect to a dynamically updating website and continue to receive updates using Node.js

There is a dynamic website (i.e. the content updates continually) that I need to scrap. When a web browser connects, the website continual pushes updates to the client (which happen to be small json files). I need to capture those incoming updates programmatically using Node.js. I just need a proof of concept - connect to the website and issue a callback that prints the output to screen each time an update comes in.
