Connect Back-end to Front-end

I Have a project that is based on Traccar: https://github.com/traccar/traccar
It is a monolith project (Traccar), but in my project a separate Back-end (VM on DigitalOcean) and Front-end deployed at Heroku. But the original project uses proxy and are located in the same host (obviously). I just need to fiz de websocet comunication and some api routes
