Build website widget in React linked to MySQL database
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
We currently have a website where users can access company records from a MySQL database.
We want to build a widget that other websites can integrate on their site. The widget will show the records of companies from the MySQL database. The user will also be able to download the record (usually a pdf).
Some of the websites we’ve spoken with wish to add the widget if it is non-obtrusive and if all they have to do is insert a few lines of JavaScript code in their pages.
As far as we understand, the solution for a problem like this is to use the following framework:
Back-end (Node.js, Express, MySQL database connection including authorization)
Front-end (React(, Redux to manage state))
We think embedding the widget with JavaScript is better than using an iFrame. This is so the website admin has full control over how our widget blends with the website (such as CSS, dimensions, etc).
We are looking for a programmer with a proven track record building apps with React.
