Build me a web app

I have a web based application that makes connections on steem blockchain and transaction of data
this is working on php as frontend
mysql on DB and node js process ad backend

problems
the node process keeps running 24/7 and the data transactions slows down over time
the UI needs to change
Need to add more data functions specifically on recording transactions and displaying to users
migrate to mongodb

please let me know how this can be achieved
